The Rail, Maritime and Transport Union (RMT), has announced that workers on the Virgin West Coast line will strike six times in December and January, with one walkout planned to take place on 22 December.
According to the union, around 1,800 train managers, on-board catering staff and other workers will be involved in the action.
The strikes, which will take place on 15th and 22nd December, and then 5th, 8th, 26th, and 29th January, have been called in a dispute over pay and working conditions.
