Virgin Trains East Coast changes to First Class

As of 20^th May 2018, Virgin Trains East Coast (VTEC) will no longer provide a Quiet Coach seating option in First Class. Virgin Trains has said that the change will create a more flexible space and greater freedom for customers travelling in First Class.

According to Virgin’s research, only 9% of VTEC customers value the Quiet Coach offering in First Class. In response to this information, the decision has been made to create more flexible seating options for the benefit of more passengers.

Any reservations made now for First Class travel on VTEC trains from 20 May 2018 will be in the new seating arrangements.
