Travelodge’s new SuperRooms are the first of their kind in the UK budget hotel market. Customers can now choose to ‘upgrade’ from a standard room for £10-20 extra per night.
The new SuperRooms feature a different colour scheme, balckout curtains, Lavazza coffee machines, upgraded showers, USB charging points, ambient LED lighting, larger desks, wall-mounted flatscreen TVs and in-room irons and ironing boards.
Peter Gowers, Chief Executive of Travelodge said:
“We are all used to airlines offering a premium economy cabin that bridges the gap between traditional economy class and an expensive business class offer. We wanted to bring that same choice to budget hotel huests.”
SuperRooms are currently available at Travelodge’s London Waterloo, Farringdon, Euston, London City Road and Heathrow Central properties.
