The union delegation representing the pilot community of Brussels Airlines has called for strike actions on Monday 14th and Wednesday 16th May. The strike will impact approximately 557 scheduled flights to and from Brussels, affecting over 60,000 passengers including holidaymakers, commuters and business travellers. Up to date flight information is available at brusselsairlines.com.
In addition, France’s air traffic controllers will strike on Tuesday 22nd May. The strike is expected to cause disruption, although its impact on flight schedules is not yet known. A schedule of cancellations is expected to be released several days before the strike begins. Passengers are advised to contact airline companies in advance of travel to confirm the status of individual flights.
