Some disruption to rail services is expected in Paris on 18th and 19th March as two of the French capital’s railway stations will be closed for planned engineering work.
The stations concerned, Paris Gare de Lyon and Gare de Paris-Bercy-Bourgogne-Pays-d’Auvergne will be closed to all train services on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th March.
According to SNCF, the following changes will apply:
– TGV connecting Paris with Lyon: departures and arrivals will be moved to Marne La Vallée-Chessy.
– TGV connecting Paris with the Côte d’Azur region: departures and arrivals will be moved to Aéroport Charles de Gaulle, also calling at Marne la Vallée-Chessy.
– TGV connecting Paris with the Languedoc-Roussillon region: departures and arrivals moved to Paris Montparnasse, also calling at Massy TGV.
– TGV connecting Paris with the Alps: departures and arrivals moved to Versailles-Chantiers, also calling at Massy Palaiseau.
– TGV Lyria (Paris-Switzerland): departures and arrivals moved to Gare de l’Est.
– Intercity and TER Bourgogne: departures and arrivals moved to Paris Austerlitz.
Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
Subway RER and metro services will still stop at these stations on the above dates.
