KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will begin flying direct to San José, Costa Rica as of 31st October this year. KLM will fly twice a week to Costa Rica on Tuesdays and Fridays. The outward flight will leave Amsterdam-Schiphol at 15:25 and arrive at San José at 20:05 (local time). The return flight will leave San José at 22:05 and will arrive at Amsterdam-Schiphol the next day at 15:10 hr.

“KLM currently brings many passengers to Costa Rica via Panama. The increasing interest of the European market in this beautiful country convinced us to start a direct flight to San José.”
The San José service will be operated using the most modern and fuel-efficient aeroplane in the KLM fleet, a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The Dreamliner has a capacity of 294 seats: 30 seats in World Business Class, 219 in economy Class and 45 in Economy Comfort Zone.
