Aviation workers across Italy have announced strike action for Thursday, 23 February 2017 with many airports and airlines being affected.
Alitalia, Citiliner, Air Italy and MeridianaFly pilots and cabin crew will go on a 24-hour strike nationwide from 00:01am (local time).
Italian Ryanair and Volotea crews will stage a four-hour strike on the same day between 2pmĀ and 6pm (local time).
Alpina workers at Bologna Airport will strike from 11am to 3pm (local time).
Workers at Malpensa Airport will stage a 24-hour strike.
Naples airport staff will strike between 11am and 3pm (local time).
Aviapartner baggage handlers will strike for 24-hours at Turin and Venice airports.
