Italian airline Alitalia has cancelled dozens of flights, both domestic and international, due to a strike by air traffic controllers which is scheduled to take place on Friday 15th December.
Unions have confirmed that the strike will take place for four hours between 1pm and 5pm local time.
Those planning to travel with Alitalia on this day are advised to contact the airline to check the status of their flight.
