As of today, Wednesday 25th January, all British Airways services to and from London Gatwick Airport will operate out of the South terminal.
Gatwick South has undergone an extensive re-fit in preparation for the move and passengers will find BA check-in located in Zones A and C. This includes 12 12 self-service bag drops and a designated Premium check-in area which is available in Zone A.
A brand new British Airways lounge facility had been scheduled to open today alongside the terminal move but this is now expected to open shortly though BA have not yet announced a revised opening date.
In the meantime, First and Gold card customers, plus oneworld equivalent, will be invited to use the No1 Clubrooms lounge in the South Terminal. In addition, all eligible customers travelling to New York (JFK), Bermuda (BDA) and Jersey (JER) may also make use of this lounge.
All other customers travelling in Club, Silver card holders, and oneworld equivalent, will be invited into the Speedbird lounge, which is a temporary lounge dedicated for the use of BA customers.
British Airways has reassured passengers that BA and Gatwick staff will be able to provide plenty of information and support to assist their journey through the terminal.
