Rail workers are to stage two fresh strikes in the longstanding row over the role of guards on trains. Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) on Arriva Rail North (Northern) will walk out on Thursday 24th and Saturday 26th May causing disruption to services. Passengers are advised to review altered timetables in advance or plan alternative travel where possible.
