A new, twice weekly, direct service from London Heathrow to Barbados will be launched on 12 December 2017.
The new flights will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays as part of Virgin Atlantic’s new winter schedule.
Customers from Northern England and Scotland will now be able to easily connect from Edinburgh and Aberdeen airports to Barbados via London Heathrow with the new routing.
Shai Weiss, Chief Commercial Officer for Virgin Atlantic, stated – ‘The Caribbean has always been a cove market for Virgin Atlantic, so we’re excited to announce that we’re offering more choice to our customers with the option of flying from London Heathrow, Manchester or London Gatwick direct to Barbados’.
The Airbus A380 will be fully configured with 33 Upper Class, 48 Premium Economy and 185 Economy seats, allowing more customers to experience the Virgin Atlantic service.
The flights will go on sale 27 February 2017.
