As a result of the proposed strike by Air Traffic Controllers, flights scheduled to operate to and from Italy on that day may be affected. The necessary adjustment of flight programmes may lead to delays and cancellations from several airlines.
British Airways has advised customers to carry essential items such as medication, baby formula, nappies etc., and items such as books or game to keep their children occupied, in their hand luggage as a precaution.
Easy Jet have released a statement assuring customers that they are doing everything possible to minimise disruption. They have also requested that customers do not contact the call centre, saying that anyone affected by the flight changes will be informed via email or SMS.
