The Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union has confirmed that three rail companies will hold strikes on Tuesday 30th May.
Members of the RMT union at Southern Railway, Merseyrail and Arriva Rail North will all take part in the industrial action.
The 24-hour walkout is the latest event in a long-running dispute over staffing and driver-operated-only (DOO) trains.
The strike at the end of this month will be the 32nd day of industrial action by Southern workers over a twelve month period.
