Greece: air traffic controllers will join general strike on 17th May

A Greek general strike is planned to take place tomorrow, Wednesday 17^th May 2017.

Air traffic control officers (ATCO) from the union HANSP have notified officials that they will participate in the industrial action. Air traffic controllers in Greece will walk out between 8am and 12pm halting work for 4 hours.

Passengers planning to fly into or out of Greece on the day of the strike are advised to contact their airline well in advance of departure to confirm flight status.
