Southern rail advises passengers not to travel as drivers start two-day walkout

Strike-hit rail operator Southern has warned passengers not to travel on Today, irrespective of the outcome of a last-ditch bid to halt a walkout.

Members of the drivers union, Aslef, are due to walk out for two days in the dispute over driver-only trains.

There will also be reduced services on Thursday 15th due to an overtime ban and drivers will strike again on Friday 16th.
