As we advised earlier this week, RMT trade union members who work for Virgin Trains East Coast are planning industrial action on Monday 3 October 2016.
Train services are expected to operate as scheduled with no changes to ticket restrictions or validity.
However, there will be some changes to the onboard catering:
The Foodbar may not be open and there may be no trolley service in Standard so please stock up with some goodies for the journey before you travel.
The First Class menu will be reduced but they hope to be able to serve hot and cold drinks and a selection of cold food options too.
