The RMT union has called a strike for Sunday 26th November, which will significantly affect CrossCountry train services.
As a result of the industrial action, CrossCountry will be operating a reduced service but using some longer trains. Some services may finish earlier than normal, and some stations may have no CrossCountry services.
Although alternative travel arrangements have been prepared, CrossCountry expects all Sunday services, and any replacement bus services, to be very busy.
Those planning to travel on a CrossCountry service this Sunday are recommended to travel as early as possible. Amended train plans will be confirmed by CrossCountry later this week, so passengers are advised to keep checking the CrossCountry website for details.
If you wish to make alternative travel arrangements for this day, please contact our team on 0191 285 0346 or send an email to business@travelb.co.uk.
