Bus & train drivers in Liverpool to strike on 8 November

Arriva North West bus workers, already planning five 24-hour walkouts over the next month, have added a sixth day to coincide with the Merseyrail and Northern Rail strikes on Wednesday 8^th November.

Drivers and engineers at Arriva across the North West are scheduled to strike on Monday 30^th October and every Monday in November (6^th, 13^th, 20^th & 27^th).

The planned industrial action will affect bus services in Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire.

Arriva has sought to reassure customers that it is doing everything possible to resolve the dispute.
