A Tube strike scheduled to take place this Thursday (5th October), which had threatened to cause “substantial disruption” across London, has been called off.
Members of the drivers’ union, Aslef, had planned expected to walk out for 24 hours in a dispute over working practices linked to the introduction of night Tube services.
However, the union has announced it is suspending the action following talks with London Underground at the conciliation service, Acas.
