Transport strikes continue in Italy

A planned strike is disrupting public transportation in Rome and Naples, and additional strike action is planned for 25^th and 26^th July in other cities.

Today’s strike disrupted services in Rome until 12.30pm (local time). Services in Naples will be guaranteed between 5pm and 8pm.

Transport strikes will affect Bari and Trani on 25^th July, and airline workers are scheduled to strike on 26^th July, including EasyJet cockpit crews.

Strikes in Genoa have been underway since 17^th July, and are expected to continue until the end of the month.
