Security staff at Adolfo Suarez-Madrid Barajas airport plan to stage a series of partial strikes over the next three weekends in a dispute over working conditions.
ATES, a union representing around 1,000 workers has filed strike notice for 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30 and 31 July (Friday to Monday over the following three weekends).
The strikes will run from 0530 to 0630, 1030 to 1130, 1400 to 1500 and 1900 to 2000 (local time).
Passengers due to travel to or from Madrid over this period should allow more time for their journey.
