Spain: Taxi drivers strike 29 June

Spanish taxis drivers have called a general strike throughout Spain which is taking place today between 9am and 9pm local time.

This will affect those who have reserved vehicles that have an occupancy of between four and eight seats. Bookings that have already been made will be affected.

Taxi companies should offer their customers the option to cancel with a full refund or to take a shared transfer in a minibus or coach.

Should customers opt to take a shared transfer then any difference in price should be reimbursed.
