Southern Railway could face fresh strikes as drivers are balloted on walkouts over pay.
The announcement from ASLEF union comes as its members prepare to begin a ban on overtime on 29th June in a separate, long-running dispute over driver-only trains, which has continued over the past 15 months with services often severely affected as a result.
The fresh vote being put to ASLEF members follows the failure of months of talks to resolve differences over pay, which could result in driver strikes from 27th July.
