The largest pilots’ union, SNPL France ALPA, has confirmed that pilots at HOP! Air France will go on strike from 3rd to 8th July in a dispute over pay.
A strike notice was issued at the end of May and the union has decided to go ahead with the proposed industrial action as ‘there has been no progress in negotiations with the airline’.
HOP! is the brand name of the regional flights operated by subsidiaries of Air France. The new brand offers daily flights to 50 French and European destinations.
UPDATE 28/06/17: The strike has been postponed until 13th to 18th July to allow more time for negotiations.
